Asian Center Invites Community to
AAPI Heritage Month Celebration
 

The Asian Community & Cultural Center is proud to host their 4th annual Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration. All are welcome for this free, family-friendly event! Celebrate the Year of the Snake with cultural performances, food, activities, and more. The event will be held at Sandhills Global Event Center on May 3rd from 1pm – 5pm.

For over three decades, the Asian Community & Cultural Center has welcomed immigrants and refugees arriving in Lincoln. They help newcomers integrate and acclimate, share their stories and culture, cultivate success, and find belonging.  In 2024, Asian Center staff spent over 48,000 hours supporting, teaching, and empowering New Americans in Lincoln. Their staff represent 16 different ethnicities and serve a wide variety of Asian cultures, as well as Sudanese, Afghan, Ukrainian, and other central Asian/Middle Eastern communities in Lincoln.  Learn more about the Asian Community & Cultural Center at their web site.
